Surgery can be a difficult and stressful process for both pet and pet parent. At Animal Care Clinic we seek to keep your pet comfortable and safe, and provide you with the peace of mind that comes from knowing your pet is in good hands.

Our experienced veterinarians can perform a broad range of surgical procedures and deliver top-notch results.

Round Rock Veterinary Surgical Services

We provide many elective and non-elective surgical procedures for dogs and cats. Among the surgeries we offer are:

  • Spay & Neuter
  • Mass Removal
  • Laceration Repair
  • Cystotomy
  • Laparotomy

For non-elective surgeries (specialty surgeries) in which our veterinary team is unable to assist with, we will refer and match you to a board certified surgeon for further care.

Pre-Surgery Consult

If you have already scheduled a surgical appointment with us, please complete the Surgery Consent Form prior to your appointment.

Surgical Monitoring

While we perform the procedure we will monitor your pet for safety and comfort the whole time. We use heating pads and water blankets to maintain your pet’s temperature and watch their vital signs with an EKG, pulse oximetry, SPO2 and blood pressure monitoring. A veterinary technician is present the entire time to monitor your pet's condition.

Post-Surgery

Following surgery we will keep your pet in a specialized recovery area where they can be comfortable and monitored by our nursing staff. At this time a technician will advise you as to your pet’s condition. We make pain management a priority and offer a full day of hospitalization for recuperation and recovery.
This recuperation takes place in a comforting post-surgical environment, where your pet is under continuous care by a skilled recovery technician. When they are discharged, we will provide customized discharge instructions for your pet's at-home recovery.
